For many years, we have offered a creative meeting place for various forms of arts and crafts on our farm. Ceramics has long been a central part of our activities, but today our members also work with silversmithing, painting, glasswork and crochet, among other things. We are devided into two buildings called KeramikHuset and HantverksHuset. Our premises also house Gammelhuset Tryckeri, where cards and other printed matter are created using traditional methods.
We currently have three places available for new members at one of our premises. If you work with glass or other crafts (not ceramics) and are looking for a studio, you may be interested. A place in the studio costs 1000/1500 SEK per month or 2500/3000 SEK per quarter. The rent includes your own key and free access to the studio (but no more than twice a week), except on days when courses are held on the premises. You will also have your own exhibition space where you can sell your art for a 15% commission if you wish.
In addition to a studio space in an inspiring environment just outside Lund, there is the opportunity to sell your work at our markets a couple of times a year. We are also open to customers on the last Saturday of the month and host events for art clubs that make purchases for art lotteries.
Contact me at info@ateljerabygard if you are interested in membership, and we can see if your needs fit our premises and our business.
