In Stora Råby, just outside of Lund, Ateljé Råbygård is located in a tasteful renovated old stable. The 120 square meter studio offers a workplace with lots of light and a beautiful view over the fields. There is lots of place to work with clay or paint and we have a little gallery displaying work from the various artists working in the studio. Ateljé Råbygård is run by me, Solange Korn Arvidsson, and I live on the farm with my husband Per-Ola Arvidsson and our two sons Ruben and Zeb.

We are 15 artists that work in the studio in their free time. Most of the focus lies on working with ceramics; we throw pots, make sculptures and use various other techniques mainly using stone clay. When the weather permits, we burn raku, an old Japanese burning method. I also have courses in ceramics and organize activities and get together with friends/family (information you can find under "kurser" and "aktiviteter". Sometimes we have exhibitions, usually before Christmas and during Easter! Check out the home page for upcoming events and course dates (under "kalendarium")!

In addition to the ceramic studio, we have an organic sourdough bakery called "Brödlabbet" on the farm. Besides selling bread, the bakery offers courses, events, pizza nights and more. We have an exhibition room that can also be used for conferences and dinner parties.

Since October 2012, it is possible to stay over at the farm for shorter of longer periods during the summar. We have four rooms available for you that share a bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom has a laundry machine and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and eat. Check out the rooms under "rum". If you are interested in staying over, in combination with a ceramic or bread-baking course or just because you want to enjoy the peace and quietness of our farm, let me know!

You are always welcome to drop by and have a look in the studio, we always have items displayed. In the "webbshop" we display items that we have for sale. The bakery has regular opening hours (Friday 1200-1830 and Saturday 800-1400), the studio is open when someone is working there. If you want to contact me you can find the relevant information under "kontakt"!
